Primary Responsibilities

In the role of CAD Technician, we'll count on you to:

• Produce highway, roadway, and civil site drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software, with occasional assistance from supervisor or others
• Participate in BIM development and help lead technical training sessions for the group
• Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Associate or technical school degree or combination of education and relevant experience
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software
• Requires a good working knowledge of Civil 3D, construction documents, and technical knowledge
• Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Preference given to candidates that are local to Corpus Christi
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience

• Knowledge of Bentley Microstation civil design software
• Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology preferred
