Halff's Corpus Christi Office is in search of a Project Manager with experience in Transportation project development. This position offers a great opportunity to continue your professional growth with complex projects and management of design teams while collaborating with clients and other experienced Professional Engineers. The successful candidate should have experience performing complex transportation engineering tasks, leading transportation design teams, and coordinating with clients or stakeholders. The candidate will work closely with the transportation team leader, other design staff, consultants, and clients to deliver projects that contribute to the growth and safety of Texas roadways. Civil Engineer Project Manager (P.E.) - Transportation Responsibilities:
  • Works under a Team Leader in the development of roadway design and PS&E
  • Manages transportation projects or tasks in support of business needs
  • Assists in managing the workload of design staff including other Engineers, EIT's, and technical staff
  • Assists in development and management of project scopes, budgets, and schedules
  • Reviews transportation designs and detailed plans for accuracy and consistency
  • Reports on project progress
  • Collaborates with clients and other consultants
  • Assists with business development activities
Civil Engineer Project Manager (P.E.) - Transportation Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • PE in the State of Texas or willing to obtain license within six months
  • 5-8 years of experience in transportation project delivery; TxDOT experience (as a TxDOT employee or consultant) is desirable
  • MicroStation, Geopak, and OpenRoads experience
  • Experience managing roadway design projects and plan production
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Commitment to quality
