Summary:

Manages the nursing services and staff for a department; ensures quality and full compliance with relevant policies and standards.

The Cardiac Cath Lab consists of five angiographic suites, one of those being dedicated to Electrophysiology Procedures (EP), as well as a Hybrid OR suite. We typically do about 4000 diagnostic and 900 interventional cardiology and peripheral procedures annually. Our procedures include Right/Left Heart Catheterizations, percutaneous coronary/peripheral interventions, AAA stent repairs, and Transcutaneous Aortic Valve Repair (TAVR), EP Ablations, and pacemaker/ICD implants. We have a dedicated nine bay holding area so we can handle our patients from start to finish. We run our rooms with two RNs/ two Radiation Technologists and have a four person call crew for 24/7 care. We are a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care with door to balloon times of 60 minutes. Our employees have a combined experience level of well over 200 years between the team.

We have a team mentality here in the Cath Lab and all of the good we do for our patients is because of the hard work of each individual on our team.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Registered Nursing program, Bachelors of Science in Nursing required
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related advanced degree in health related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership
  • RN license in good standing in state of employment or a compact state , if applicable
  • Registered Nurse (RN) required
  • BLS - American Heart Association
  • Additional certifications required in accordance with Registered Nurse certification requirements for the unit(s) the Clinical Director is responsible for.
