Shift: 10am-6pm

Weekly wage: $27.38/hour.

Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting on the production floor and for all repairs and preventive maintenance on all equipment used in the manufacturing process throughout the entire facility.

Essential Functions:

  • Install, repair and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment in a fast paced environment with progressively less supervision.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment ensuring equipment is in good repair and safe operating condition
  • Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding and plumbing activities with minimal supervision.
  • Work in a safe manner, in compliance with Company, State and Federal GMP's, SOP's and Administrative Policy and Procedures
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Possess own tools
  • Safety is vitally important not only at our facility but also from a personal standpoint. Employees are responsible for understanding and following all safety procedures. Likewise, food safety is a key performance indicator. Understanding this, GMP and housekeeping procedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility.

General:

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision.
  • Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
  • Perform assigned duties following "Good Manufacturing Practices."
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • A High School or Trade School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Lock Out / Tag Out and Confined Space Entry programs.
  • Haz-Mat Technical Level Training

SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:

Support SQF by:

  • Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
  • Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • The monitoring of incoming services
  • Properly documenting tasks
  • Completing Preventive Maintenance and Work Orders as required.
  • Serves as a backup for all the other mechanics.
